This is what I expected, and I'm glad they went this direction. This book is what I wanted from a miniature combat game. You needed dozens (if not hundreds) of miniatures everything was so regimented and formal. I remember opening the book when I got home and it wasn't what I expected. Miniatures were for representing your character in D&D. Until then I had no real idea that miniature gaming existed. I was taken by the polish of the book, something I didn't see in the RPG and boardgames I'd had experience with up until that point. When I was 12 I picked up 3rd edition Warhammer Fantasy Battle. This softback book weighs in at 168 pages, and will blow the Mortal Realms wide open for you, your gaming groups, and any friends you might want to introduce to the fantastical world of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
